Here's our honest review.
Samantha Sandow
Between TikTok’s big boom and the surge of countless up-and-coming beauty brands, the presence of younger generations in the beauty industry has never been more prevalent. New skin-care line and community Bubble highlights this trend by aiming its products toward teens and the demographic’s specific skin-care needs. Bubble isn’t the only brand aimed at teens, so what makes it stand out? It’s known as the “first modern, affordable, science-backed skin care formulated specifically to clean, balance, and hydrate teenage skin,” says the brand.
Bubble’s skin-care philosophy aims for each product to feature advanced clean ingredients—think willow bark aloe and rosewater—to help fight occasional breakouts. The product lineup is already making waves with rave reviews in the industry, as the brand has been recently endorsed as an essential by Youtube and skin-care influencer, Hyram Yarbro.
Testing Bubble products
To understand the hype first-hand, I decided to try the products for myself. After receiving products from Bubble, the first thing I noticed was the high-quality packaging and how creative each product design was. Each night for the past few weeks, I have been introducing a number of Bubble products into my personal skin-care routine—here’s how they fared with our reviews.
Slam Dunk Hydrating Moisturizer ($15)
Key Ingredients
Vitamin E for antioxidant protection and avocado oil to soothe and nourish normal-to-dry skin types.
Added benefit
Not your average water cream moisturizer, a superfood-packed blend of glycerin, water, hydrolyzed pea protein, glucose, sodium chloride, and sodium succinate delivers protective and reparative benefits to the skin and shields it from blue light–included damage.
The bottom line
This was definitely my all-time favorite product I tried from Bubble. To start, the packaging and dispenser was unique and made me eager to incorporate it into my morning and evening routine. The moisturizer was super light and absorbed into my skin super easily as well. Thanks to its texture and ingredient list, I would highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive or normal-to-dry skin.
Bounce Back Refreshing Toner ($12)
Key ingredients
Green tea extract is incorporated into the toner to provide moisture and a calming effect to the skin, even for those with acne. Willow bark extract was highlighted as one of the most featured ingredients in Bubble’s lineup, here it helps exfoliate the surface. Salicin, one of the key components of this extract, is a key anti-inflammatory, which can help with acne. Sodium PCA and niacinamide team up to improve texture and radiance.
The bottom line
Before opening the packaging of the Bounce Back Refreshing Toner, I assumed that the product would be applied with a cotton round or something similar. I was pleasantly surprised to see that toner is packaged in a spray bottle, which can be easily incorporated into a morning or evening routine, or just when you need a refreshing pick-me-up.
Come Clean Detoxifying Clay Mask ($19)
Key ingredients
Montmorillonite clay is a crucial component of this mask Bubble makes. It helps to remove impurities from the pores while gently exfoliating the skin for a clean, smooth finish. Antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant-rich azelaic acid also plays a major role in nourishing and soothing the skin.
The bottom line
This formula is light and smooth and does a number on impurities and clogged pores. Because I have sensitive skin, many clay masks I have tried in the past have left my skin red and irritated. After washing off this one, however, I was pleased to see a noticeable difference in my skin, it immediately looked brighter and felt more nourished.
